This spiral staircase showcases an industrial yet simple and modern look. However, don't be fooled as these are a work of art and take time, precision, and a lot of planning to execute perfection.

All treads were custom designed and built to fit into this space. Every spiral is unique to the space it needs to fit. Some progress photos are shown in the different stages of building and install. 90% of this job was done on site as it is a very tight space and home construction was fairly far along. Building these in a shop and installing on site would not have been possible. The process to build this custom staircase has met the required codes as well as the expectations of the owners. These were placed in a "mothering quarters" suite off the main home from a down-stairs electric room that enters into a living/storage room where they will place built in shelving along the walls. As you walk up the spiral you will enter the main living area that houses a small kitchenette, bedroom, and bathroom. This staircase gives the small living area a modern loft feel. When you reach the top of the stairs a custom radius handrail continues the design of the spiral and a landing made to mimic the design of the treads for a cohesive feel. These will be finished with paint from another contractor and a finished photo will be added upon completion.
